Dimitri Raft is a London- and Athens-based actor, writer, and filmmaker, born and raised in South Africa, known for his grounded, character-driven performances and versatility across drama and comedy.

His work explores complex, often morally ambiguous characters, with notable roles in The Big Father and Seeking Zeke, where he brought authenticity to his performance by speaking Kurdish.

His feature film Gimp and the Hitman (2025), which he wrote, directed, and starred in, was officially selected for the North Film Festival in New York. Alongside his screen work,

Dimitri is an accomplished live performer, creator of the original comedy show Nurse Dimitria, and an active stand-up comedian, bringing sharp timing and audience connection to his craft.

Fluent in multiple languages and experienced both in front of and behind the camera, he combines emotional depth with a strong sense of storytelling. His background in coaching, movement, and performance further enhances his ability to create layered, authentic characters. Based between the UK and Greece, Dimitri continues to develop bold, character-driven projects across film, television, and live performance.
