ABOUT
Danish actor Mads Koudal trained at The Arts Educational School of Acting in London in 1998 and has since built a truly international career across film, television and theatre. He has worked extensively in Denmark, Indonesia, Canada, the USA, the UK (England, Wales and Scotland), Iceland, Bermuda, Spain, Norway and Sweden, and has lived in London, Andorra and Los Angeles.
Mads is known for his versatility across genres, from grounded drama and dark comedy to action-driven and genre productions. His screen work includes appearances in major international television such as Gangs of London, as well as feature films including Finale, Upstairs, Six Reasons Why, The Reverend and the Indonesian action feature Merantau.
Alongside acting, he is also active as a writer and director, most notably on the award-winning short film Tonser, in which he combined performance with storytelling behind the camera. His background in martial arts and physical performance further strengthens his presence in demanding, character-driven roles.
Beyond the screen, Mads works as a hospital clown and continues to explore performance as a tool for connection, empathy and transformation.
