Sara Hagno is an award-winning Scandinavian actress working internationally in English, French and German speaking roles. Based in Sweden and Switzerland, she also works regularly in the UK and France.

Before acting, Sara trained and worked as a qualified medical doctor in Stockholm. Her experience in hospital environments — close to life, mortality and intense human emotion — continues to inform her work as an actress, bringing authenticity, emotional depth and psychological insight to her performances.

After ten years in Switzerland, she returned to Sweden to pursue acting, attending drama school and later founding her own theatre company. Transitioning from stage to screen, she has since built a strong career across feature films, television and shorts, often drawn to complex, nuanced characters shaped by adversity and inner conflict.
