Taiyo Yamanouchi
Taiyo Yamanouchi is a Japanese-Italian actor, filmmaker, musician and multidisciplinary artist based between Milan and Rome. Active in the film industry for more than 35 years, Taiyo follows in the footsteps of his father, actor Hal Yamanouchi, internationally recognised for his role in The Wolverine.
With a unique screen presence and extensive experience across cinema, television and voice work, Taiyo brings depth, precision and authenticity to a wide range of international roles. He will soon appear in the Italian television series M – Il Figlio del Secolo, directed by Joe Wright.
Beyond acting, Taiyo is also active as a director, storyboard artist, musician, martial arts instructor and podcaster. His artistic background combines performance, movement, visual arts and storytelling, resulting in a highly versatile and distinctive creative profile.
Fluent in Italian, English and Japanese, with additional Spanish language skills, Taiyo is particularly suited for international productions requiring strong character work, physical performance and cultural versatility.
