Thor Knai is a Norwegian actor with a foot in both Europe and the US.
After serving a tour in Afghanistan with NATO in ’05, Thor attended NYFA’s acting program in Los Angeles,
then worked internationally (London, Beijing, Hong Kong, Oslo) before being granted an “Extraordinary Talent” visa to the US in ’08 and moving to LA.
He first appeared as a Guest Star on the TV’s “Bones”, and went on to shows like “The Last Ship”, “Awake”, and “True Jackson, VP”
before doing a series of shows for the CW in the US, including “Reign”, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”, “DC Legends of Tomorrow”, and “The Outpost”.
In 2022, Thor played “Hjalmar” in director Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon” franchise for Netflix, shooting Part 1 & Part 2 back-to-back.
“Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scargiver” premiered on Netflix April 19th, 2024.

He also does audiobooks, commercials, and VO, and because he’s a huge nerd & gamer, you can find him running professional Dungeons & Dragons games
for Hollywood big-shots or at “D&D in a Castle” in England.
