Tomo Kawaguchi was born and raised in Hyogo, Japan. She moved to Los Angeles in 2002 where
she studied Lee Strasberg method acting.
She appeared in the many independent films and TV shows and commercials in the US. She
starred in the award winning short film called “Tomoko’s kichen” alongside with Cassandra
Peterson (Elvira)and David Launder(Squiggy from Lavern and Shirley).
In 2019 she moved back to Japan to continue to pursue her career internationally. She
recently appeared on “Tokyo Vice” directed by Michael Mann.
