SPOTLIGHT PROFILE

Jackson Wright is a London based actor of Welsh/English heritage.

His film credits have included roles in The Plague (BFI trophy tour -best newcomer, Catrin Cartlidge foundation award), Deadman Apocalypse and Escape from Cannibal Farm ( Dark Temple). His recent performance in the short film Inside the Abyss has netted him three best actor awards (Halicarnassus, Subhadra and Make Art not Fear film festivals).

He will shortly be appearing as a supporting artist in House of the Dragon: Season 2

He is a fit and athletic actor, skilled in stage combat , scuba diving and Rock Climbing. He plays guitar and bass guitar and performs regularly as a performance poet.

He has directed and written regularly as artistic director of his own theatre company Ashes and Diamonds, and is currently in preproduction on his plays, King Leopold Speaks (for those in Darkness) and Prometheus Done

Jackson trained at LAMDA and UWA.
His background is in classical theatre and  recent years he has taken on leading roles in plays by Shakespeare, Strindberg, Barker, Chekhov, and Camus.
