He is known as an actor playing the feature role ‘Ishida Mitsunari’ on the award-winning web series “Age of Samurai” (2021) by Netflix. His first international appearance was the role of a bilingual cop in “Enter the Void(2009) “ directed by  Gasper Noe.

In the early days, he studied acting at the United Performers’ Studio under the top casting director/producer, Yoko Narahashi.

In Japan, Hino’s first appearance in a TV-Drama was “Love Chat” (1999) as a leading role. After that, he continued to develop his career rapidly and played a regular cast in the NHK Taiga-Drama series, “Toshiie to Matsu” (2002) , the popular TV series “Onsen e ikou” season 4 (2003)  “Clouds Above The Hill” (2011), “Space Battleship Yamato” (2010), and “Odoru daisousasen” (2012).

He is skilled in horseback riding and Japanese traditional dance.

He can also be seen in commercials such as Nissin, Coca-cola, SONY, and so on.
